When to Order a Framed Recipe Card for Christmas 2026
Every December someone finds the card on the 19th and asks if it can still make it. Here are the real dates, so this year it's you who planned ahead.
The two dates that matter

Cutoffs are end of day, US Eastern time. Orders after December 10 can still be placed, they just may arrive after the 25th.
Why free shipping needs the extra week
Every piece is printed and framed to order, then shipped. Free shipping is the slower service, and December is the busiest month of the year for every carrier. December 3 gives your order room for both.
What Express costs
Express arrives 3 business days after your order ships. It's $29 for the first frame and $9 for each extra frame. If your order is prints only, Express is $24. Frames and prints travel in separate boxes, so they may arrive on different days.
Start now, even if you order later
The slow part is rarely the printing. It's getting the photo. The card is in your aunt's recipe box three states away, or it's in your mother's kitchen and you need an excuse to borrow it for two minutes. Ask this week. If the family is together for Thanksgiving, that's the moment. Photograph the card, and while the box is open, photograph the rest of it too.
Ordering for more than one person
If every sibling wants the same card, order them together. Every extra framed copy of the same recipe is 20% off in the same order.
If you miss the date
You can still give it. Print the picture of the framed piece from your order confirmation email, put it in a card, and let them know the frame is on its way. Some families like that better. It gets opened twice.

Yes. Enter their address at checkout and the order ships straight to them, free anywhere in the US.
How long does shipping take? Do you ship internationally?
Most orders ship within 3 to 5 business days from our print facility, and delivery typically takes another 5 to 10 business days after that. Shipping is free on every US order. Need it sooner? Choose Express at checkout and it arrives 3 business days after it ships: $29 for the first frame, $9 for each extra frame and $24 more with any prints, or $24 for prints only. Your prints and your frame travel in separate parcels, so they may arrive on different days. We currently ship within the United States only. Can I order more than one?
Yes, order as many as you like. With the Family Frame Offer, every extra copy of the same framed recipe is 20% off in the same order: the same recipe in the same size, style and frame color. Your first is full price, and the saving is applied automatically at checkout. Framed and Framed + Mat qualify. Print Only and Print + Mat copies, and a different recipe, size, style or color, are full price.
